
Elmira Kakabayeva is the research coordinator at GRIST. She holds an MA in Sociology and Social Anthropology, as well as in Public Policy Conflict Resolution and Mediation, and has previously worked in education, journalism and marketing. She is the founder of Family Ethnography, a course and community of female writers from Central Asia, writing about memory and history with a decolonial lens.
