Our work in this area focuses on applied research and the activation of GRIST’s social transformation agenda. Anti-racist action, like other social interventions, is often constrained by logics of urgency, efficacy measurements, and demands for guaranteed success—factors that can hinder necessary experimentation and care in transformative processes. GRIST is developing projects that model innovative ways of intervening in social contexts to address and transform racist dynamics.
